By signing the petition, you are asking the levels of government responsible for funding public transit to:

- Rapidly develop public transit infrastructure in the large urban centres by:
1. Constructing light rail transit systems along the routes proposed by the public transit and independent research agencies (e.g. Ave. du Parc (Montreal), A-10 (Longueuil, Montreal), extension of the O-Train (Gatineau), tramway in Quebec City, and other proposed routes)
2. Expansion of bus service in cities and poorly-served towns and regions.
3. Expansion of the metro (Montreal), except in areas that are unsuitable for this kind of heavy-rail transit, where, for example, light rail service would be more appropriate.
4. Stabilization of commuter rail service in the Greater Montreal region and studies for new lines. Other cities in Quebec could also benefit from commuter rail.

- Develop heavy public transit throughout Quebec, either by bus or train, to bring about a network that would connect all the principal towns and cities of Quebec.
